Our Story
The Hype ABQ Nutrition started with a simple frustration: why was it so hard to find baked goods in Albuquerque that actually felt good to eat? Not restrictive. Not boring. Just honest, well-made food that respects both flavor and how you feel after.
Today we're a neighborhood staple on 4th Street — a bakery and specialty pantry where every loaf, bar, and shelf item is chosen with the same standard: would we be proud to serve this to our neighbors? If the answer isn't a clear yes, it doesn't make the cut.
What We Do
Three pillars, one philosophy: food that tastes incredible and earns its place on your plate.
Sourdough loaves with a crackling crust. Butter laminated pastries that shatter at the touch. Small-batch breads baked daily in our Albuquerque kitchen — no shortcuts, no industrial timers.
Desserts that don't apologize. Protein-enriched bars, gut-friendly sweets, and indulgent treats made with real ingredients you can pronounce — because feeling good and enjoying yourself shouldn't be a tradeoff.
A thoughtfully selected grocery section featuring local New Mexico products, international staples, and pantry must-haves — everything from small-batch hot sauces to organic grains and specialty oils.
Our Philosophy
If we can't explain where it came from, it doesn't go in our oven. Every flour, fat, and sweetener is chosen deliberately.
We source from New Mexico farmers and producers whenever we can. Your neighborhood bakery should lift up its neighborhood.
"Healthy" shouldn't mean bland. If it doesn't make someone close their eyes on the first bite, we're not done yet.
